This page gives details of Swan Wheelers Cycling Club’s acceptable use policy, moderation policy and rules on user behaviour for the Swan Wheelers CC member forum, Swan Wheelers Members Only Facebook group and the Swan Wheelers member WhatsApp group (collectively known in this policy as ‘the forums’).

Once your comment is online, everyone registered to the group can see it. Please make your comment clear to ensure that is not misunderstood. Please consider how your comment could be received by others.

Confidentiality, privacy and impersonation
You must not submit confidential or private information to the forums. For example you must not upload the telephone number, email address of any other contact details of any person to a forum without their express permission to do so.
Any conversations conducted in the closed message features of the forums between a subset of members (ie private messages in the Swan Wheelers CC Member forum or Facebook Messenger) cannot be reposted anywhere else without the permission of all members involved in the closed conversation.
You must also not pretend to be someone else when registering or posting comments to a forum.

If you consider that a comment does not comply with these rules, please contact a member of the committee.
Monitoring
Forum posts are monitored by the admin for each forum. Where the moderator identifies a post which contravenes the above standards, they will remove it.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to immediately, without notice, suspend or terminate your membership of, or the ability to access one or more of the forums, upon any breach by you of the above policy.
